BasketBall Wives Season Premiere...

Are You Ready???
BBW Season Premiere starts tomorrow at 9pm on VH1...I don't know about you all but this is one reality show that I do watch. It is part of my weekly muse. Honestly, I hate alot of reality shows but there are some decent ones that I can stomach and BBW tends to be one of them.
Question is...Who will be the underdog this season? Who will make it out alive? Who will act innocent like they've never said anything wrong about someone? and who will surprise us this season? Will the attitudes be the same? More or less fighting?? The drama has increased 10fold and I will be there unraveling it with all the other viewers lol...

But on a positive note, as women you know we are always catty to each other. I believe that attitude needs to be extinct just like high top hair cuts from the 90s LOLOL. How many of us can say that we have characteristics similar to one of these Basketball Wives? Or we see a little bit of yourself in each and everyone of them?

Honestly, I can say that I am similar to Evelyn. Tammi, Jen and Shaunie (but all of these personalities come out when need me). But on an everyday basis I'm Shaunie, not to the point where I start drama but where I'm always willing to hear both sides of a story before I make my own judgment. I'm more of a levelheaded person. But catch me on a bad day and you will see Tammi come out with Evelyn's readiness to fight. I may feel Misunderstood like Jen on many occasions but usually in surroundings where people choose to be fake rather than upfront about who they really are or when people don't have a mind or opinion of their own.

On the real, let's see what this season holds!!! Fasten your seat belts (might as well a helmet too) ;)

OMG...EBay Haul on its way

Im back and I'm hotter than ever....I've been on eBay since 2005 (buying and selling) and I can tell you that I was beyond addicted. Well now I'm back on it and I'm loving it all over again.

I'm bidding and watching a few things. So once those are final I'll do a post of all the finds I got. So far I won 2 bids (1 Ralph Lauren blazer and another blazer from London Jean).

That's Sheer Awesomeness <3 I love shopping, but being frugal while I shop is the bomb diggity. Take it from a struggling nursing student like Moi.

Different Shades of Black for Night Out for Curvy Gals like me

Blue and White Stripe H&M shirt that I wore as a dress (sz L) with a black blazer from Target. The shoes are Carlos Santana pewter color and oversized black patent leather clutch (a gift).
My cousin and I. Heart ring from H&M
Black and White geometrical print dress from Daffy's. Shoes from Payless.
An old black dress (which always comes in handy) from Gap (sz M). Since I'm tall I wear it as a short dress to go party.
Dress bought in 2010 for my 25th Birthday but can't remember where. Gold platforms from Bakers (2010)
White printed dress from Fashion to Figure (sz 1x)
Black top worn as a dress from Joyce and Leslie. Leopard clutch from Cinderella.

Foe or Friend?!?

Friends???? How many of us women or men can actually say we have that? How many of us can say we have true friends, there whenever not only when times are good.

This is a pic of my girls for 20+yrs. We all met in primary school (1st grade for me) and have been as thick as nails since then. It's hard to find another female that we can call a close friends but its rare to find one that has stuck it out with you no matter.

Sometimes, I can be a loner but there are times when I want that sisterly love around me. I'm the only girl among  my siblings so yea you can imagine what I mean. But lets be for real, this hating game that many of us women are playing is not cute. We need to give it up and focus on the positive rather than the negative. Let's count on each other and be accountable for each other rather than tearing them down.

You see, this VDay, I'll be spending it with my girls as we have countless years before...This is to show that with or without a  man we still don't neglect each other. Because at the end of the day, who will have your back when your man is gone (God forbids)??

*Disclaimer* I DO HAVE A MAN THAT I LOVE DEARLY but I'm not neglecting him either this VDay

R.I.P Whitney Houston!!!

Say it ain't so.....One of the greatest singers of all time have passed away a few minutes ago.
I know she's been through her whole ordeal with drugs and alcohol but being that she was so honest about it, I loved her even more. Not many celebrities are open about that.

I remember when I was 13 singing "Count on Me" for a contest. And boy did I feel great. Whitney you're a legend. I will always love you!

What about LOVE???

Love comes and go but best of all is what remains. Your heart or yourself? We give soo much of ourselves away, as women, to those who don't even deserve our time. We complain there's no good men out there but yet we keeping giving them our time.

I'm a hopeless romantic (many don't know this about me)but I do believe in love!!! I say real love is giving all of yourself but remembering to stay true to yourself and not lose your essence of being.

So this Valentine's Day for all those who are without, remember the best thing in life is learning to love yourself before you allow someone else to do so. And for those who will be spending time with their boo, lover, boyfriend or hubby enjoy and savor all the good times!!

Xoxo,
A Sucka for Love!!
